This 6-minute film marks the launch of The Commonwealth Dance Relay, a global dance competition created by The Commonwealth Resounds, and produced by Cloud9Media as official film partner.
Working with the Commonwealth Secretariat and choreographed by Shevelle Dynott (former Royal Ballet dancer and mentor), the Dance Relay is designed to inspire young people across the 56 nations of the Commonwealth to co-create a shared performance that will culminate on two of the world’s most visible international stages:
- The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Antigua
- The 2026 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony in Glasgow – TBC
At its heart, this project is about unity, cultural identity, and access, and about how powerful storytelling can mobilise people across borders.
Why this kind of project matters
Across the world, access to the arts is still shaped by geography, race, and socio-economic background. The Commonwealth Dance Relay challenges those barriers by offering young people a genuine pathway from local creativity to global visibility.
For organisations, charities, and brands working across borders, this project is a reminder that impactful content is not just about telling a story – it’s about designing participation.
We’ve already begun filming the early stages, and the global callout is now live. But to fully realise this project, from flying dancers from their home countries, to training, rehearsals, and capturing the entire journey from local studios to the world stage, we need committed partners and sponsors to help make it happen.
If you’re interested in sponsorship opportunities, exploring collaboration, or know an organisation this could be right for, we’d love to start a conversation.

The Commonwealth Dance Relay is a once in a lifetime project we have in development for a broadcaster, which sees children from Commonwealth countries get a chance to work with the Royal Ballet School to put on a global dance at the opening ceremony of Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2026 and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Antigua 2026.
Shevelle Dynott, who was given a chance to dance himself as a young boy growing up in South London, will work with young students from the Royal Ballet School and Purcell school of music to create a set dance piece that will be sent to budding young dancers around the Commonwealth. The best of these will then be invited to perform at the Commonwealth Games and CHOGM in 2026.

When the fintech company FICO requested a film that would kick their annual conference off with a bang, they took a leap of faith with this one.
And it paid off.
From commissioning two talented dancers, to bespoke music and a script that tied the evolution of AI to the present day, we created an art-piece that received standing ovations amongst a 1400 strong audience and established the metaphor of AI as a dance that became the central theme for this four day conference in New York.

Working in partnership with Comic Relief and building on our understanding of British Airways’ brand requirements, we devised a concept for this Flying Start inflight fundraising film, based on capturing real interviews with the real change-makers of the future from two sides of the world. The premise of the film is to show how the ripple effect of our actions can have a wide-reaching impact and serve the purpose of changing lives for the better.
This film was played 40 minutes before landing on all of British Airways’ mid- and long-haul flights.
We also made an accompanying longer version for internal colleague engagement that is a core part of British Airways’ Flying Start campaign.
Flying Start has raised over £25 million to date from inflight and colleague donations.
