Vince Power, manager of the KPH (Kensington Park Hotel) pub, had been in an ongoing dispute with developers for the past three years, who want to close down this community asset and turn it into an estate agents and luxury flats.

This was a film to raise awareness for the plight of community pubs in peril like the KPH and dozens of other music venues around the UK which face closure on a daily basis due to aggressive development and are seeing the erosion of our history and culture.

Sadly after a drawn out battle, Vince lost his fight in court and had to close the pub on the 7th April 2016*.

*It has since been saved after a high-profile campaign to keep it open by Eddie Izzard and singer Cerys Matthews!
