Normalise: Behind the Scenes

When we got the call to make a film about normalising testing for COVID-19 around the world, we leapt to the challenge.

Storyboarding, working with three filming crews (including actors, locations, costume etc..) in India, Estonia and Kenya, the result is ‘Normalise: Behind The Scenes’, which we filmed using a series of sequences to highlight what lives could be like if we all knew our status at any given moment in the day.

BA Flying Start 10th Anniversary

When our long-standing video partnership with British Airways and Comic Relief led to BA approaching us to make a video celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Flying Start campaign, they knew they were in good hands.

They needed something fun, lively, and engaging to encompass all of the incredible things that the partnership has achieved, as well as it being suited for broadcast internally and on their social channels. To achieve this we took a deep dive into both our own and also BA’s archives to put together a short, punchy video that holds nothing back in delivering the message.

Saving water in Kenya

Charity partnerships like The One Foundation and World Duty Free are incredibly powerful, helping raise millions of pounds for longterm causes like clean water.

We followed a team of staff from various airports in the UK on their journey to Kenya, where they saw first-hand the difference that access to clean water was making in the lives of people living in some of the most deprived areas of the country. Through their efforts, lives are being changed for the better.

To capture a bunch of people who have never been to this part of the world, and who are seeing the impact of their work, was rewarding in its own right.

A Home for HIV Infected Children

Based in Kenya, Nyumbani is a charity that has developed a visionary solution to the legacy of HIV AIDS in Kenya. Through the love of a Catholic Sister, the charity has helped thousands of orphaned children face the huge challenges of making it to adulthood in a country where HIV is still a taboo with confidence, allowing these orphans to refill the gap left by previous generations wiped out by this disease.

The film was paid for by Hotcourses, one of their benefactors, to update board members like Jeremy Hunt on the life-changing work that goes on in this special place. We created several lengths of film for different purposes, and worked closely with the charity to ensure the creation of a sensitive and informative final product.

Community Investment – The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

They say never to work with children or animals. With baby elephants being over-friendly (and boy do they push!) filming at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was no exception. Thankfully British Airways use their network of people, planes and goodwill to bring help to orphaned elephants in Kenya. It’s reassuring that large corporations can use their core skills to help more than just passengers.

An experience never to be forgotten.
