ALMA Rwanda: Integrated Scorecard

Our longstanding client the African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) introduced its scorecard system in Rwanda in 2017, to help tackling the challenge of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) that was burdening the country.

Having obtained encouraging results, the charity decided to produce a short film to encourage key decision makers in other African countries to adopt the scorecard.

ALMA had obtained hours of interview and b-roll rushes that were locally shot, and asked us to use our narrative and editing skills to produce this 3-5 minute long film.

RMNCAH Scorecard Mali: Introduction

Working with the government of Mali, the African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) introduced its Reproductive Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) Scorecard system in 2014.

In 2022, the data gathered through the Scorecard system began to be utilised to help in understanding its effectiveness in improving maternal and child health. Through the scorecard’s ‘traffic light’ system, health workers in Mali are able to clearly understand which areas of delivery of health care are doing well, or require improvement and need to be acted on.

Our brief in this film was to follow the roleplayers in Mali in order to show the progress that has been achieved by ALMA in the country, and the ways in which the Scorecard system is improving lives by making healthcare accessible.
