W1N as one
It’s amazing what can be done with a zoom link and some good producing these days. Working with Nat Low our resident in-house producer, we captured the winning spirit that drives FICO’s salesforce, to be shown at an all-staff event.
Video wall films
Sometimes it’s nice just to have something in the background. We had a lot of fun working with FICO staff in creating a simple visual way of conveying the challenges that customers typically face. OK we stole the idea from Bob Dylan.
Shown in their Solutions Center, the films provided the perfect backdrop for more serious conversations to take place.
Compassion in finance
In a world where people see debt spiralling out of control, this company is helping financial institutions offer their end-users the very best service, to lift them out of poverty.
Travelling out to Ed’s ranch and then to his offices in Fairfax Virginia, we got a great insight in to what makes his leadership style so unique and yet appropriate for the type of service C&R offer. It was a great chance to get under the skin of what really makes Ed tick.
FICO World 2022: Daily Summary film
This is one of three daily summary films, all shot and edited in a day to be shown on the a big screen the next morning. It captures the genuine energy and positivity of delegates from around the world, after three days of breaking free from the pandemic, making face to face contact with Zoom-colleagues and looking towards the future.
Mectizan Donation Programme Social Series – Part 1
To support Mectizan Donation Programme’s Stamp Out Oncho campaign, and to compliment the longer films we have already produced for them, MDP commissioned a series of short social media clips. The intention behind them was to summarise different aspects of the Stamp Out Oncho story in bite-size films that could be easily distributed.
Using previously-shot footage, text graphics, and animations, we repurposed the content we had already created for them and breathed new life into this campaign.
As traditional banks struggle to keep up with digital transformation and the fintech incumbents that offer a faster, more personalised service that we’ve all grown used to, FICO needed a film to set the stall for their comprehensive platform that helps banks retain customers for the journey.
Filmed and directed with crews working remotely in San Diego, Sweden and London we told the story from a personal perspective that sets the bigger picture in a real-world context.
“I’ve been watching this video several times because it makes me really happy. I’m so proud of how it turned out and appreciate the collaboration and partnership with Cloud9” said Helen Yang of FICO.
Insulin 100 Years On: Leaving no one behind
*** OFFICIAL NOMINATION FOR WHO: HEALTH FOR ALL FILM FESTIVAL ***
A short film about a global public health crisis.
When insulin was first discovered in 1921, it turned the diagnosis of diabetes from a death sentence into a manageable condition.
However, too many people living in developing countries find it increasingly difficult to access this life-saving treatment.
The commodification of an ever-growing market of people living with diabetes, combined with the inaction of governments, has led to a global health crisis. Not only do patients have to travel for hours to reach insulin, but inflated prices have forced many to ration their supplies in order to afford the drug at all.
With the help of NGOs, developing countries have been able to educate their populations, train their doctors and build public health strategies to improve access to insulin.
Only with global and national systems in place to tackle the problems of insulin availability and affordability can the world hope to bring this public health crisis under control.
This film was made with a diverse range of contributions, including the work of local film crews in Mali, Peru, Mozambique, Geneva and Amsterdam. Cloud9Media Creative Director Steve Maud’s personal experience of living with Type 1 diabetes, as well as the company’s extensive work in the field of global health, has given the production of this film a well-informed and personal insight into the global diabetes crisis.
