IF We Did Weddings…

…this is what it would look like.

Not that we do – this was a one-off for an old colleague at Comic Relief – but we’re always driven by the human drama in life, whatever shape that takes.

From gorgeous drone shots of the venue, to the table settings, the primping and the preening – and on to keeping mascara dry whilst emotions run high – this was a wedding that offered a tableau of beautiful moments.

FICO World 2023: How we did it

Every year, US fintech company FICO engage a wide network of their customers in an action-packed 3 day FICO World event that sees 1500+ attendees come from all over the world to learn about the company’s latest developments.

Their technology helps businesses from many different countries and industries optimise their processes and models using AI & machine learning. Cloud-based in nature, the FICO Platform allows businesses to create bespoke hyper-personalised experiences, give wider access to fair use of unbiased data, and create models that resonate with customer expectations.

As FICO’s media partner of choice for over 10 years, we’ve assisted them in the evolution of their brand messaging. In the run up to and during this year’s event, we created a mixture of video assets, each with a particular function:

  • set the scene for the event
  • establish thought leadership
  • capture learnings and insights
  • explain use cases of the software
  • harness testimonials
  • celebrate the good times
  • secure bookings for the following year

A suite of assets of this nature is a great investment to make an event go off with a bang, and generate value well beyond the event period.

This film summarises how we did it through our offering of a range of services that capture the beating heart of any event:

  • Live streaming
  • Delegate interviews
  • Onsite editing
  • Pop-up studios
  • Event summary & promo films
  • Licensed drone operation

Role of Public Health Informatics

When it comes to making films for our clients, getting to the heart of what makes them tick plays a central role within the narrative, helping us communicate the essence of what they do.

Fronted by the Public Health Informatics Institute‘s Executive Director, Vivian Singletary, this film delves deep into the company’s purpose whilst explaining their role in providing access to health informatics (the study of methods that help process & distribute patient data) so that public health professionals can improve lives.

Compassion in finance

In a world where people see debt spiralling out of control, this company is helping financial institutions offer their end-users the very best service through compassion in finance, to lift them out of poverty.

Travelling out to Ed’s ranch and then to his offices in Fairfax Virginia, we got a great insight in to what makes his leadership style so unique and yet appropriate for the type of service C&R Software offer. It was a great chance to get under the skin of what really makes Ed tick.

World Courier: A driver’s story

World Courier specialise in delivering time-critical medical supplies around the world that can’t afford to be late.

The company wanted to capture the unique personality-types that work well in their organisation, so we spent time with Paul who showed us what life is like when you’re got a consignment in the back of your van that can mean the difference between life and death.

Playhood: A Montessori Nursery School

Filmed during lockdown in two sittings not too far apart before the kids grew up, we made this film to capture a brilliant new concept.

Playhood combines a top-class Montessori nursery with a professional workspace all in one – allowing parents and children to bring their whole selves to work. We all need a chance to develop as rounded people whether we’re kids or adults!

Riding for the Disabled COVID Appeal

Charlotte could be considered severely disabled, but her life was transformed by horse riding and the therapy it provides. However, during pandemic lockdown, Riding for the Disabled Association had to close all of their riding centres. In the process, the future impact of COVID had more far-reaching implications that we could imagine.

We filmed Charlotte originally for a fundraising gala dinner, and decided to repurpose the edit for more wider and pressing appeal.

Remembering our filming experience with this sweet-natured girl and her un-bounding energy brings a smile to our faces.

Her mother, Helen Seth, said:

“I wanted to say a big thank you for the lovely video that you made of Charlotte for the RDA – it’s really lovely and captures Charlotte so well and really highlights her abilities. You were also really lovely with her during the filming process and we all enjoyed the day.”

We’re happy to share that our film played a role in the raising of £46,683 – and that the RDA has survived and continues to do great work.

Penguin Publishing Process Flagship

From seven interviews and seven sector videos, Penguin Random House asked us to compile a longer, all-encompassing film that could serve as a one-stop-shop for anyone wanting to know a little more about the publishing process. With minimal extra filming, we took our original content and created the perfect flagship for PRH. It gained more than 7,000 views within the first day of being posted on LinkedIn and aims to stand the test of time as guide to the inner workings at PRH.

Penguin Publishing Process: The Editor

As part of a whole suite of day-in-the-life films we have made for Penguin Random House this year, this first film looks at the crucial role the editor plays in getting a book published.

This series of films are housed on the Penguin Random House Careers website.

When published on LinkedIn it received 3k views within the first day of publishing – and the YouTube version has gone on to generate over 74,000 views to date.
