Day one of software company FICO’s annual conference, this year on AI and business. Filmed and edited on the same day at the Hilton Midtown, NY this video opened the conference the following morning to 1400 bleary-eyed delegates.
This time we put together a quick script and storyboard, and invited two of the Events Team staff on board, giving a pair of sterling performances.

We recently got back from the Fontainebleau Hotel, Miami Beach where FICO were hosting their annual conference on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and business responses to this new changing landscape. This gave us a perfect opportunity to road-test the InstaBooth, our latest innovation in how to engage through video and just one part of a whole package of video content we offered.
The InstaBooth carries the ethos of capturing thoughts on film, asking delegates passing by to take a moment to sit in a comfortable chair and relax, away from the busyness of this buzzing conference. It’s a simple pop-up tent setup equipped with a camera, ring-light and microphone.
On the 13th December 2017 the billionth treatment for neglected tropical diseases was celebrated across the world.
Sightsavers hosted events in Cambridge, UK and Abuja, Nigeria as well as distributing a powerful film we made on the backstory of river blindness in 7 other countries. We focussed on three characters in the film, a blind grandfather, his sighted daughter and a community drug distributor, the life-line of mass drug administrations that have been happening across the world for the past 7 years.
Cloud9Media provided not only the film but a live-stream between Cambridge and Abuja allowing the minister of health to talk to delegates in the UK and giving them a chance to meet the community drug distributor live on screen. We also covered the event itself to share with stakeholders, marking a truly global day in the fight against NTDs and in celebration of effective collaboration between parties across the world.
Jude is one of a kind in her drive, passion and humanity. So telling her story was a pleasure for us as there was loads of drama and emotion to capture.

In total we produced 5 hours of high-quality films which featured on prime-time slots on BBC News at Ten and live on The One Show, as well specially produced social media edits.
