Event Coverage
Don’t miss a moment
Our event coverage puts the spotlight on our clients’ brands, boosts awareness and raises the profile of fundraising initiatives.
To make the most of the opportunity we create films for use before, during and after your event. The results are high-quality assets that provide great value whilst inspiring your team and partners.
Case study: Blood Cancer UK
The challenge
To capture the spirit and participants at Blood Cancer UK’s flagship event and produce a variety of content types for next-day delivery. Key to our brief was ensuring that branding was visible on all shots, and that a diverse representation of participants (including a balance of volunteers as well as participants) were shown in footage.
Our solution
After a thorough briefing and pre-planning session, our team arrived early to familiarise themselves with the site layout and distances, and through the use of a drone as well as two camera operators, were able to successfully capture all elements of the event.
With a very quick turnaround required, our team then edited the footage immediately after the event whilst travelling in order to enable the client to seize the moment whilst interest was highest.
The outcome
Our coverage was rolled out across a wide spread of social media channels and the client’s website - as well as shared with MP’s in Parliament on Twitter, all of which helped to significantly raise awareness at the highest levels.
Assets delivered included 2 films of different cuts, durations and formats that met all requirements of a wide spread of broadcast and digital channels.
One of the 6 films created for this campaign has reached over 327,000 views and counting on YouTube!
‘Cloud9media were a pleasure to work with, creating brilliantly emotive films that will help to raise the profile of Blood Cancer.’

Working with Blood Cancer UK, we covered their large-scale Walk of Light event in Birmingham, which raises awareness about blood cancer by bringing together individuals, groups and families with shared values and experiences with the disease.
Taking place at night with supplied lanterns and many others decorated in lights of every colour, the gathered walkers made their way around Cannon Hill Park. The result was a great show of support and literally shone a light on a disease that will affect one in 16 men and in 22 women at some point in their lives.
With two camera operators and a drone, we saw the event through from start to finish.

As part of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Green Innovator, we created this two-minute film to capture the energy and impact of local climate innovation in the borough. Filmed across workshops and the final Pitch Night at Scale Space in White City, the film follows five participants as they develop and present ideas tackling challenges from energy and circularity to transport and nature.
Rather than over-scripted interviews, we focused on live moments; pitches delivered on stage, and reflections and reactions immediately after the awards. We allowed the story to unfold in real time. Through centering diverse founders and first-time innovators, the film highlights the power of social modelling and representation, showing that climate action really can come from anyone.
The client praised how the film captured the buzz, tension and excitement in the room.
Along with this hero film we delivered three portrait shorts for social media.
It has since been used to celebrate grassroots innovation, and showcase the borough as a growing hub for green enterprise.

Identity and Authentication. Everyone loves technology and it’s pretty cool when it works in your favour. But how about when it’s used against you?
In this film, industry leaders from Finance and Technology join forces to discuss identity and authentication – how do we remain safe whilst maintaining the fluidity of experience from the brands we love online?
We worked with different teams to capture the different elements of a busy 3 hours, from asking experts to talk around their field to asking attendees their opinion of it all.
It’s a lot of fun in the making and the positive experience translates well in to the final product.

Each year during the UN General Assembly week, the Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination (CGHE) hosts its Group of Friends meeting—a forum to drive participation from Member States and raise awareness about the group’s mission and objectives.
The Group of Friends is committed to galvanising political will to eliminate hepatitis at both national and global levels. Through regular meetings, Member States and partner organisations collaborate to exchange insights, strengthen international cooperation, and advocate for equity in health initiatives.
Our task was to craft a compelling video that captures the essence of the meeting—highlighting the progress made by the coalition’s partners in hepatitis elimination. The video aims to inform, inspire, and mobilize all UN Member States to actively engage with the CGHE Group of Friends in this critical mission.

FICO World Intelligence Hero Interviews – Capturing the Voices of Attendees
Client Brief
FICO asked us to create a series of FICO World Intelligence Hero interviews to capture attendee insights and personal reflections during FICO World 2023. They wanted films that celebrated delegates as “heroes of change,” highlighting their connection to AI and innovation. The client also required content that was engaging, shareable, and suitable for multiple channels.
Our Approach
To deliver, we developed the Hero Booth, refined over years at large events. Delegates entered a quiet, soundproof space, where we asked questions designed to provoke spontaneous, genuine responses. The Hero Booth format encouraged attendees to speak authentically.
We opened the 1,500+ delegate event with a theme-setting film on AI and empowerment. Then, the Hero Booth interviews captured attendee reflections. We used these interviews to produce a closing film that reinforced the event’s themes and celebrated the impact of delegates’ work.
By asking all participants the same 3–5 questions, we created a series of FICO World Intelligence Hero interviews from a single session. Consequently, dozens of delegates could appear across multiple edits, providing content for social media and ongoing engagement. The careful editing, music, and sequencing highlighted human expression and made complex topics relatable.
Impact and Results
The Hero Booth transformed delegates into spokespeople and ambassadors. These films strengthened engagement, increased social sharing, and showcased innovation-driven work. Overall, the series demonstrates how human-focused storytelling can extend an event’s reach and give technology a relatable, authentic voice.
