Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination
Working under the Taskforce for Global Health umbrella, we have enjoyed working with The Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination for a couple of years now.
Hepatitis B is one of the silent killers that resulted in more that 1 million deaths in 2024. 254 million people live with chronic hepatitis B with 1.2 million new infections each year.
Based in Decatur Georgia, they’re small team with a wide reach, so they rely on our agency to seek out contributors, learn their story and create films that capture the impact of their amazing work, partnering with Ministries of health, philanthropists and local laboratories.
It’s a relationship of trust that has deepened over the years. We’re currently working on a wider long-term brand film that will cover their work in Vietnam, Ethiopia and other countries, showing how local laboratories have been empowered to deliver effective solutions and real value for money.

Each year during the UN General Assembly week, the Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination (CGHE) hosts its Group of Friends meeting—a forum to drive participation from Member States and raise awareness about the group’s mission and objectives.
The Group of Friends is committed to galvanising political will to eliminate hepatitis at both national and global levels. Through regular meetings, Member States and partner organisations collaborate to exchange insights, strengthen international cooperation, and advocate for equity in health initiatives.
Our task was to craft a compelling video that captures the essence of the meeting—highlighting the progress made by the coalition’s partners in hepatitis elimination. The video aims to inform, inspire, and mobilize all UN Member States to actively engage with the CGHE Group of Friends in this critical mission.

Diagnostics are essential when it comes to improving the lives and health of populations. In this film we follow the story of Subash, a young man from Manipur, India whose Hepatitis C diagnosis helped him turn his life around.
Subash is a beneficiary of CoNE, a program that helps people with addiction get screened for Hepatitis C. Once Hep C is detected, beneficiaries are offered treatment and help to overcome addiction. The success of this program lies in the fact that volunteers and and professionals working in the program are former addicts themselves, and treat all beneficiaries with the respect and humanity they deserve.
FIND works with local organisations in Manipur to provide diagnostics in hard to reach areas of India. The result is a network of health professionals, volunteers, and community members that have access to faster, and easier method of diagnostic and are able to utilise them to improve the general health of hard to reach populations.

Client Brief
The World Health Organisation commissioned us to produce a film that empowers people living with disabilities, and amplifies disability inclusion to be shared on their social channels. The film needed to highlight both physical barriers, like access to health facilities, and social challenges, such as discrimination.
Our Approach
With a tight budget (WHO has been suffering severe budget cuts for reasons we all know about..) we had to think of innovative ways to bring the story to life. With no filming possible we relied on library stock-shots and footage provided by the WHO. The key thing was to feature voices of real people living with different disabilities. So we worked on a strong script which we sent out across the WHO to receive submissions.
Impact and Results
“I just wanted to say a big thank you for the excellent WHO video you produced on disability inclusion. It’s being used far and wide by the organization!

Normally these things I’d be really nervous but I didn’t even break a sweat! Everything was well organised, with briefing notes in advance, and it was less an interview but more like a conversation – so thank you Cloud9Media for a top experience!
